Mail for macOS · free
A calm inbox that costs nothing.
Flint is a desktop mail client for Gmail and any IMAP account. It keeps the three-pane layout people like in Spark, runs its AI on the ChatGPT or Grok subscription you already have, and tells you when someone opens your mail only when it can actually know.
In developmentWhat it does
Every account, one inbox
Gmail through Google sign-in or an app password, plus iCloud, Outlook, Fastmail and any IMAP/SMTP server.
Focused inbox
Mail from people comes first. Notifications and newsletters fold into bundles you open when you want to.
Read receipts that don't guess
Each recipient gets a private marker. Apple Mail Privacy Protection, security scanners and your own opens never count as reads.
AI on your own plan
Summaries, replies, rewrites, translation and questions about your inbox, through your ChatGPT or Grok account. Flint bills nothing.
Built for agents
The flint command lets local agents read, search, draft and act on mail. Every call is logged, and sending waits for your approval.
The usual, done well
Pins, snooze, send later, undo send, follow-up reminders, signatures, templates, rules and keyboard shortcuts.
